i was looking forward to seeing this, but now that it is here, i am too sick to bother. but thanks for the pics! tina http://journals.aol.com/steelmage
I’m so glad that I finally had the experience of witnessing such a phenomenon. In the past it always seemed the conditions were never right to view it. Crazy as it is, me and my husband bundled up against the cold last night and actually stood in the back yard to watch it. Thanks for sharing the pictures. Have a wonderful day.
Duh! Told my daycare kids to watch when they got home, told myself I was going to try and take pics and then........ a "senior" moment, lol, forgot and fell asleep on the couch and woke up after the event! Thanks for allowing me to view it here. lol Nancy
If it wasn't for my son, I would have forgotten too. He asked me if I wanted to come out & take a photo....Ü Looks like you were successful, Chelle~ Marie
Those are good. I was dissapointed in my shots. Here they are. Helen http://journals.aol.com/madcobug/MyEverydayLife/entries/2008/02/20/lunar-eclipse/2679
you are so poetic. i have to tell you, chelle, i so enjoy what you write. even when it's only one sentence! your pics are great. i saw it last night, we went out several times to gaze - in awe! - at the beautiful lunar scene. it was a little cloudy, but we could see the moon just fine :)
I just think it was wonderful that, while we all may be miles apart, we got to see the same thing at the same time, way up in the sky. Distance closed!

Very nice. I really want to pop the bubble wrap though. I can feel it between my fingers. Oh come on, let me have just a square of it....please!!!
At least you got out and photographed the moon, that is more than I can say for myself.
