Community Challenge•Landscapes in Black & White•JUDGED
JUDGED Category
Take a Landscape photo in B & W or transform a photo into B & W. You can sepia tone the image, frame it, but keep in mind when framing, not to take away from the image.
I have been disappointed ever since a scatter of mutton displaced your sensuous Quechee, Vermont river pic in this Community Challenge. How is it possible for a heart-throb shot of animals to win a LANDSCAPE photography contest? Isn’t that a different category altogether? Remove the cute woolies and you have a nondescript pasture unworthy of any landscape photo whatsoever. And how can telephone poles in a ditch snare the second spot? I don’t know, Chelle. I think you wuz robbed - big time. You clearly submitted the winning landscape photo. Uncle Bill http://journals.aol.com/fremoris/rosarium/

Chelle, you've GOT to tell me how to find this river in Vermont (going up there in May or June to shoot this kind of image!). It's great!

I think I just need a small raft to float on and the scene is perfectly complete! :-) Nicely done, without doubt!
