JUDGED Category

Take a Landscape photo in B & W or transform a photo into

This is a great entry Chelle.  You have used a classic leading line taking your through the  photograph.  The water is so serene and inviting.

Chelle, you've GOT to tell me how to find this river in Vermont (going up there in May or June to shoot this kind of image!). It's great!

I think I just need a small raft to float on and the scene is perfectly complete! :-)  Nicely done, without doubt!

I have been disappointed ever since a scatter of mutton displaced your sensuous Quechee, Vermont river pic in this Community Challenge.  How is it possible for a heart-throb shot of animals to win a LANDSCAPE photography contest?  Isn’t that a different category altogether?  Remove the cute woolies and you have a nondescript pasture unworthy of any landscape photo whatsoever.  And how can telephone poles in a ditch snare the second spot?  I don’t know, Chelle.  I think you wuz robbed - big time.  You clearly submitted the winning landscape photo.
